Honeywood Contracts Ltd is a construction company that holds a full licence to undertake works with asbestos. Established in Kent in 2000 the has operated both nationally and internationally, specialising in refurbishment work, asbestos removal and soft strip demolitions. We have a fully trained workforce to fulfill the HSE requirements in relation to our working with asbestos. We are a company that can prove a "one stop shop" for our clients who require both asbestos removal and reinstatment works. A recent relocation to new office in Gillingham has ensured that we are centrally located for our large client base in Kent, Essex, East Sussex and London.

We are very experienced in carrying out works within hospitals and are fully aware of the special skills required when working in medical environments. We have recently and successfully completed a refurbishment contract within the busy A&E department of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, valued at £300K in 12 weeks. This is just one of several projects we have carried out for Barts & the London NHS Trust. Other healthcare clients include Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Newham Healthcare, Guys & St. Thomas's NHS, Oxleas NHS, East London & City NHS, City & Hackney NHS.

We have in place a reliable Health & Safety Policy that is aimed at the type of works we carry out, and are fully aware of our responsibilities under the CDM 2007regulations.

Our in-house team prepare and progress construction stage health and safety plans and site specific plans of works, in conjunction with the Planning Supervisor’s requirements.

We are members of Constructionline (registration certificate here) which several authorities use for compiling tender lists. We are approved for building and refurbishment works in excess of £500,000, however, we have a dedicated professional team able to carry out works of any value. We are CHAS accredited and hold a current waste carriers licence.

Although the majority of our workload is for NHS clients, we have also carried extensive works for clients in both the public and private sector. These include Kent County Council, YMCA, Freeman-Ankerman Partnership and Vinci PLC. We also have experience in the retail sector with various clients.
