Honeywood Contracts Ltd is a construction company of traditional trade background, established in Kent in 2000 that has operated both nationally and abroad, specialising in refurbishment work. We have recently relocated to new office in Gillingham in order to be better located for our large client base in Kent, Essex, East Sussex and London.

We are very experienced in hospital works and are fully aware of the special skills required for that environment. We have recently successfully completed a refurbishment contract inside the busy A&E department of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, valued at £300K in 12 weeks. This is just one of several projects we have carried out for Barts & the London NHS Trust. Other healthcare clients include Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Newham Healthcare, Guys & St. Thomas's NHS, Oxleas NHS, East London & City NHS, City & Hackney NHS.

We have in place a reliable Health & Safety Policy that is aimed at the type of works we carry out, and are fully aware of our responsibilities under the CDM regulations.

Our in-house team prepare and progress Construction stage health and safety plans in conjunction with the Planning Supervisor’s requirements.

We are members of Constructionline (registration certificate .pdf) which several authorities use for compiling tender lists. We are approved for building and refurbishment works up to £475,000, however, we have a dedicated professional team able to carry out works of any value.

Although the majority of our workload is for NHS clients, we have also carried extensive works for clients in both the public and private sector. These include Kent County Council, YMCA, RSPCA, SITA, Vienna Group, Paul Mitchell and Co Architects.
